Moayad Al-Lami to / NINA /: An Iraqi-Egyptian agreement to launch a joint electronic platform for the two countries

Baghdad The Head of the Union of Arab Journalists, the Head of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate, Moayad Al-Lami, revealed a joint Iraqi-Egyptian agreement to launch an electronic platform for the two brotherly countries, as well as strengthening joint cooperation frameworks.

The Head of the Union of Arab Journalists, the Head of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate, Moayad Al-Lami, said in a statement to the National Iraqi News Agency today, Sunday, “We have joint cooperation projects with the Egyptian side to support and develop the media and press sector during the coming period, as well as support and qualify the capabilities of journalists working in these sectors and provide them with Modern electronic and digital media techniques and technology.

He added, “There will be a joint electronic platform related to news of Iraq and Egypt, to contribute to deepening and strengthening the cultural and economic relations between the two countries,” noting that “the electronic platform will be jointly supervised by the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate, the Union of Arab Journalists and the Supreme Council for Media Regulation in Egypt, in cooperation with the Media and Communications Authority.”

He explained, “The coming period will witness a series of new meetings and technical meetings to complete the procedures related to the joint Iraqi-Egyptian electronic platform, in preparation for launching it to work in the media space soon.”
