Saudi Minister of Culture Discusses Cooperation with his Indonesian Counterpart

Magelang, Indonesia– Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan, Saudi Minister of Culture, met Tuesday the Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia, Nadiem Anwar Makarim, on the sidelines of the G20 Ministers of Culture’s meeting held in Central Java, Indonesia.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Saudi Minister of Culture thanked his Indonesian counterpart for holding the third meeting of the G20 Ministers of Culture. Nadiem Anwar Makarim, in turn, praised the Kingdom’s efforts in holding the first meeting of Ministers of Culture in 2020 during the Kingdom’s presidency of the G20.
During the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance and expand the horizons of cultural cooperation between the two countries in various cultural fields. The Saudi Minister of Culture invited his Indonesian counterpart to attend the Biennale of Islamic Arts in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 2023.
