Saudi Minister of Islamic Affairs Leads his Country’s Delegation to the World and Traditional Religions Leaders Congress in Kazakhstan

Nur-Sultan, Sep. 13, 2022, SPA — Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh on Tuesday started an official visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan to lead his country’s delegation to the 7th Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions in which Saudi Arabia is taking part beside 100 delegations from 60 countries of the world.
The visit comes at an invitation of President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym Jomart Tokayev to take part in the congress which is hosted by capital Nur-Sultan from 14 – 15 September .
The conference is scheduled to discuss the role of world and traditional religions in spritually and socially developing societies in the pro-pandemic phase.
The Kingdom’s participation in the event comes in compliance with its pioneering role as a leader of the Islamic world and embodying its noble message in disseminating tolerance, moderation and amicability in the world of today.
