SDAIA Joins World Bank’s Digital Development Partnership

Riyadh– Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) today – during the 2nd Global AI Summit being held at King Abdul Aziz International Conference Center in Riyadh – announced that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by SDAIA, has joined the World Bank’s Digital Development Partnership, which is a cooperation partnership between the public and private sectors to help developing countries benefit from digital innovations to solve some of the most challenging issues.
In its capacity as a new member to this partnership, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will contribute to supporting initiatives that aim at enhancing the development of data capabilities, speeding up the use of digital tools, and sharing the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s expertise and capabilities to realize sustainable growth and economic development.
Under this partnership, work will be implemented with a selected group of partners from the public and private sectors that will work jointly to enhance the efforts of developing countries to empower digital development.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia aspired to build strategic partnerships that contribute to supporting development efforts at the regional and international levels in the data and AI field through cooperation with the World Bank.
