A joint detachment of community police in the Department of Relations and Information and the River Police saved a woman from suicide in Wasit Governorate by trying to throw herself from the top of Al-Anwar Bridge in Kut district to the river.
The Community police said in a statement: The community police provided psychological and moral support to the woman, and pledged to make periodic visits to her home in order to assess her conditions and provide the necessary support.
It added: This suicide attempt came against the background of family problems and psychological disorders.
