Kut Detachments of the Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Control Department in Wasit Police were able to arrest two suspects of drug trafficking and abuse, in an operation carried out in the city center of Kut.
A source in Wasit Police told the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that the arrest was carried out by the Anti-narcotics and psychotropic substances detachments, and one of them was seized with a plastic bag containing the narcotic “crystal”, and the accused were criminalized in accordance with the provisions of Article 28 of narcotics, adding that legal measures were taken against them, and referred to the judiciary.
