Baghdad The Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Muhammad Shia’a Al-Sudani, received, this morning, Wednesday, the Commander of the US Central Command, General Michael Korella, and his accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, they discussed aspects of military cooperation and coordination between Iraq and the United States.
Al-Sudani stressed the importance of continuing joint work, especially in the field of advising and training the Iraqi forces, which are engaged in the confrontation against terrorism effectively and professionally.
He pointed out that the Iraqi forces are determined to continue working to stabilize stability and preserve the successes achieved in the war on terrorism.
The meeting was attended by the Commander of the international coalition forces in Iraq and Syria, General Matthew MacFarlane, as well as the US Ambassador to Iraq, Elena Romanowsky.
